Have yourself a Merry little Christmas!

So I know I haven't blogged for a while, which is weird cause I've had lots of time! Well today is Christmas! I love Christmas! It's just good being with family and everyone! It's such a great time of year. Yesterday, I woke up at 6:15 and went to the stake youth morningside. It was good and I enjoyed it! I came home and took a long nap because I was way tired. Then I just helped people get ready for dinner and such and me anddad ran some errands. My grandparents on my dad's side came and my dad's sister, who's from D.C. came with her husband and her two little boys. Dinner was yummy and then we just sat around and hung out. Later my mom's parents came over, we opened our annual pj's and then went to bed at about midnight. I could not sleep last night. And it wasn't just because I was super excited... although I was, but I just couldn't sleep, and I don't exatly know why. So we woke up at about 7:00 and just layed in my parent's bed and then went and got my grandparents at 7:30. We finally started opening presents at like 8:00.

So on Thursday my mom told me about how she ordered these boots that I wanted and it turned out that it was a scam. So I was kinda sad cause that was the main thing I was asking for and it's pretty hard to get a pair of Uggs days before christ

mas. But it turns out that they had some at Nordstrom on wednesday that were the exact ones I wanted! So for Christmas, I got some Uggs, which I had no idea that I was getting, a new camera, a Sweet Jazz hat from spencer,

some clothes and some other random stuff. It was good! I feel so lucky for everything I got! There are some people who can barely afford to get one present.

Good Week...

So this past week has been pretty good! My birthday was on Thursday and it was fabulous! I have the best friends! Friday night I had my birthday party and we went to the zoo lights! They are so cool and it was so much fun! I took some pictures, but i'm not sure how to get them on cause I'm on Spencer's computer! At the zoo there was a baby monkey that was born the day before... so that makes it my BIRTHDAY! Yeah, we have the same birthday now, pretty cool! Saturday I slept in 'till like 9:00 and then made some breakfast cake! I ate breakfast and then showered and then went to the store with mom, costco=always good! So after the store me and mom went to Christmas Carol and Rogers. It was really good! Saturday night I went to a family party, kinda boring, but ok! Sunday was just a normal day...good day! Today was good. AFter school I went to the rec center with emily and worked out, then we saw marissa and her mom took us home. Mom and Dad are at the Jazz game, some and spencer got Subway and now we're just watching the Princess bride! 4 more days till Christmas Break!!!!! ...aaand only twelve until Christmas!

Thanksgiving break was good! Since most of my friends were gone, emily and I hung out a lot. It was good. There really is nothing like an old friend. Emily and I have been friends since we were like TWO! Crazy, huh? It's so much fun to hang out with her and I honestly could tell her everything. I LOVE our crazy talks about random and kinda weird things. Emily know pretty much all there is to know about me so I can always just be myself around her! It's nice, I enjoy ours talks! ...that's pretty much it! Oh, and also sleeping in until about 10:30 every day, yeah it's kinda bad but still fun! It was nice to have a break, but I'm kinda ready to go back to school. I actually really enjoy school, and we have two basketball games this week and I must say our guy's basketball team kicks butt! we have a really good team! Plus, the sooner school comes, the sooner my birthday is here!!

sToRmS?!?!

So i was going to write this post on wednesday, but I didn't have time when I got home. I decided to call this post storms because I was thinking about this quote, it goes like this: Life isn't about waiting for the STORM to pass it's about learning to DANCE in the RAIN! I thought this would fit good with this time just because of everything that is going on.

Kevin has been gone for over a week. We just got a letter from him today! He's says it's tough, but getting better everyday! He says his comp is stupid though, he says "he is a self-righteous butthead"- his words, not mine. I guess everyone in his district just kind of roll their eyes at him.

On Tuesday there was a "blizzard". Everyone was freaking out about it at school and saying that everyone needed to be home by 4:00. Even though it was kind of ridiculous- it was barely a storm at all, let alone a blizzard, I decided to have some fun. Emily came over after school and we went and rented a movie. Then we came home and did p90x and then had dinner. Then we watched the new Glee and then watched our movie, we watched Bring It On- Fight To The Finish. It was hilarious and I enjoyed it very much! After we watched the movie, we decided we were going to go sledding... at 10:30 at night! It was really fun!

Thanksgiving was good! Spencer, mom, and I went to walmart last night at midnight to get some stuff for my Aunt Karen. I can't believe people actually do that every year. It was fun, but i probably won't do it again, atleast not at midnight!

Life is good right now! In less than two weeks I can get my permit!!! ..and I will also be 15! I put up the christmas tree today and we'll probably decorate the house pretty soon! I love the christmas season! It's good.....

Farewell?

So today was Kevin's farewell. It's crazy! I can't believe it's already here. I look back to July when he got his call, and back then, November seemed so far away, and now all of the sudden it's here. I'm am going to miss him so much. I love all of our times driving down the street, blasting to music and singing at the top of our lungs. I love going to see movies with him, and hanging out with him. I don't know what I'm going to do without him here. It will be so weird. Even though Kevin and I have had our fights, and at times I've said that I wouldn't miss him at all, I'm going to ball my eyes out on wednesday. I only have 2 and a half days left with him for the next two years. When he gets back I'm almost going to be 17. Crazy, huh? I honestly don't think it's really hit me that's i'm not going to see him for TWO YEARS! We don't even get to talk on Christmas because he'll still be in the MTC.

So today in yw our lesson was on being grateful. We talked about how everything we have came from someone else, and it's true. You could make cookies, but where did the ingredients come from? I have so much to be thankful for and sometime I don't think I show it enough! Here are some things to be grateful for...

-My parents, all they do for me,

my mom came and picked me up from school EVERY day during the volleyball season and took me to practice

-my dad who goes to work everyday, and works super hard, just to provide for me.

-My brothers

-My amazing friends, they help me stay strong in the church and are good examples

I could go on and on forever about things I'm thankful for.

State Tournament!

So this weekend was the volleyball state tournament! It was so much fun! It was down at UVU. Yeterday we lost our first match, which meant we couldn't take state :(, but then we won our second match! Yesterday in the morning we played sky view, we barely lost and went all the way to 5 games. Then after we went to the mall to get some lunch, and then went to the Herricks grandparents to just chill until we went back. In the afternoon we played Salem Hills. We took them to 5 games too, but ended up winning! Then this morning we started off playing Spanish Fork. We only went to 4 games, and won that match too! Then we just chilled for a couple of hours until we played again. Our last match was against Mountain View ( I think, It's hard to get all the names straight). We beat them in 4 games! So at the end of the day, we ended up in 6th place. Which is pretty big, saying as Bountiful hasn't placed in state in YEARS. It was so much fun! We had a great season and I'm going to miss all of our seniors. I look up to them so much and they really have helped me get better!

November?

So i have no idea where October went but it was crazy! The last couple of weeks have been crazy, tough too. I have barely had enough time to even clean my room, which is kinda driving me crazy. It's so messy! But october was good too! For U.E.A. we went to San Diego. just a family trip before Kevin leaves. It was so much fun! we went to sea world, the beach, the temple, and just hung around and explored san diego! And then as soon as I got home, I had to write a report. Ever since then it's been SO crazy. With volleyball, officer stuff, band, jazz band, honors classes and everything else that has been going on. It's also been tough like not really feeling good. Most of the time i just kinda feel like people don't really like me. Like i'm just kinda there. I've kinda learned to tough it out and just get over it. Or else my life would pretty much be miserable.

So Kevin leaves in like TWO WEEKS! Crazy, huh? I can't believe it's almost here. Back in july, when he got his call, I thought it was so far away, but

it's almost here. It's so weird to think that in about two weeks he's going to be gone for TWO years. I'm gonna miss him. although we aren't always the nicest to each other, I'll miss him tons. He's my best friend and we have fun together.

The volleyball state tournament is this weekend! I hope we do good! We have a pretty good team, but there are some other teams that are prett

y good! The JV and Sophmore teams took region, which doesn't seem that cool, but that's pretty much as far as we can go! So I'm happy about it! I'll have to tell about how the tournament goes this weekend!

Good Day....

So today was a good day! First I woke up, got ready and went to school. School was pretty good! I gave a talk in seminary for conference in general! That was fun! Then, after school me and emily went to the marijuana plant, like we do pretty much everyday. we decided to be classy and not spit on it today. Then on the way up the street we threw/tossed a tootsie roll to a kid who was walking up the street. So i got home, hurry and changed, and then went out to Highland for my volleyball game. The game was good, we won! Mom had an enrichment and Dad just didn't come, so I had to ride the bus home. Then I ran over to the church to get my backpack cause it was in that car, and now I'm home just chilllin'. That's pretty much all that happen today, kinda boring but still good!

P.S. I've decided I LOVE James Taylor! He's just so good and his music is just so chill! Good Music!

Conference Weekend? I think YES!!!!

So Sundays are already pretty much my favorite, but conference? It doesn't get better than that! I mean, come on what's better than staying in your pj's and watching church at home? It's the best! Conference Saturday is pretty awesome too! Yesterday I watched conference and Abby and I also did a project during the second session. It was really fun and I can't wait to finish our project all the way! Then last night, while my day and brothers were at preisthood, my mom, abby, and I went to a movie! We saw "You Again". It was really funny. It's about this girl named marni whose brother is getting married. Come to find out, he's marrying the girl who was really mean and stuff to marni during high school when marni was kinda the dorky girl in High School. It was a good movie! I like it!

ABBY!

Well today i'm just going to write about my amazing friend abby! So on monday night me and abby just sat down and talked. It has been forever since we've just talked. Actually it's been a while since i've just talked with any of my friends. So, me and abby just talked for like forty-five minutes about random things.... school drama, crushes, problems, etc. So pretty much I LOVE abby. I'm pretty sure she's one of the coolest girls ever. I'm jealous of her mad soccer skills and her good looks! She always cheers me up so much, especially when I've had a bad day, like today, everything was better when I started hanging out with abby! Today I also went to mutual with her and it was so fun. She's one of my few friends that I can literally tell everything. Abby is amazing and I LOVE her TONS!!!!

Volleyball:)

So today I've decided to blog about volleyball! The may before 7th grade I went to a volleyball camp. I went to a few more over the summer and decided to try out for the MJH volleyball team. I made it and then decided to do club that january. I improved a lot and then got to start every varsity game my 8th grade year. Again I did club volleyball and went to a team camp with the BHS volleyball team. I was planning on playing volleyball at the high school (if i made it), then they changed the freshmen rule making it so that I could only play varsity if I was going to play up. Although I would would probably get a lot better than if I played at the junior high, I still wouldn't really be able to play because they already have

the varsity team, and I'm not quite there yet. So we went and talked to the guy that changed the rule and left feeling like he wasn't going to change the rule. I decided to try out for the high school team and then right after try outs I found out that they had changed the rule! So now after two and a half years of playing volleyball, I LOVE the sport and I'm improving everyday!!!

AHHHH....

Well I'm not very good at this whole blogging thing, hence why I haven't written anything since like june. Life is so busy, hopefully it will slow down a little bit and i'll get better at this! So right now an average day for me goes like this: 6:03 my alarm goes off, snooze until 6:10, get in the shower, get ready, leave for jazz band at 7:00, go to jazz band at 7:15, at 8:10 regular school starts, I spend my time in classes being a good little girl and doing my assignments, then at 2:55 school ends, I get all my things and my mom takes me up to Bountiful High for volleyball practice, I hurry as fast as I can to get ready and warmed-up cause practice really starts at 3:00 but I have to be a little late, so I have practice until 5:00, I come home, eat a snack, and start working on homework, then we eat dinner, I finish up my homework, and I go to bed! Exciting, huh?! That's actually my schedule on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays! On tuesday's, and thursdays I don't have jazz band but now I have volleyball games that go until about 8:00, so I get to come home after that and do homework! So my life is pretty busy right now trying to juggle everything, but I would so much rather be busy than have nothing to do! I am actually happier during the week when I haven't watched much tv, or just sat around! I think it definatly makes you a happier person! I'm happy even though I went to bed later than I should have the night before, and have been tired all day!

Well Today is my best friend Abigail's birthday! Abby and I have been friends since preschool. I love abby with all of my heart! She is an amazing girl and I know I can talk to her about anything! We've had some good times together, singing clouds in my coffee in the grocery store, sitting on my bed talking about our week at trek and soccer camp and our new "c.o.w.'s", and eating panda in my basement with our ice cream shots watching baby mama! Abby, if you read this, I LOVE YOU! I hope you had the most amazing birthday ever and i'm glad we've been friends all these years!

Summer Has Finally Started!

So I haven't written anything for a while cause i didn't have anything to write about and then I was on vacation. This past week I went to lake powell! That place seriously is heaven on earth! I love it so much! Jessie bouchard came with me and we had so much fun! My legs got really sunburned, but now they have just turned into a tan, so it's ok with me! Last night Emily, Marissa, and I went to Cafe rioand ate, then we went to see toy story 3! It was extremely funny, and even a little scary! There was this creepy monkey that really scared me! I almost had to hold emily's hand I was so scared! Now, today Emily and I are going to do something awesome, so that should be fun!

This weekend has been crazy! Actually, the whole week has been crazy! It started off on monday-memorial day! we were going to go boating, so we got it all ready, then my dad found a gas leak in the engine! I wasn't very happy! so then we decided to go up the canyon and eat dinner with my grandparents. Abby came with us! It was really fun! Then, school was pretty easy this weekend. On wednesday, I had to go to the 9th grade dance with the old and new officers! it was way fun, we got to see our sweaters! On friday, I went over to rin's house at 7 o'clock and we had breakfast, then all 18 of us crammed into her car and went to school! We had an end-of-year assembly at school, then we all just signed yearbooks. At the assembly, we got our sweaters then we got to wear them around! They are SO HOT!!! After signing yearbooks we walked over to cutlers to get lunch. Then we came to my house and had snowcones and just hung out! It was way fun! Then I got to go to Graduation for Kevin! I'm not gonna lie, it was SUPER boring, but it was way worth it. I'm so proud of kevin and I love him so much! I have the best brothers in the world! So after that I came home to eat dinner, then went up to emily's. We went swimming and had pizza. then later on at about 9 o'clock, we went over to lexie powell's house! A bunch of us crammed into her truck. So after that we went back to emily's and we just talked until about 1 o'clock in the morning! Then we decided to get ready for bed and watch the sisterhood of the traveling pants 2! It was pretty great! we all woke up at about 9 o'clock and finished the movie, then we went and made waffles for breakfast! Then, later on that day, I went to Brittany Wilde's party. It was so much fun! For dinner, my family went to sizzler to celebrate kevin graduating. Then, last night, i went up to emily's, then we went to the stomp that was down on main street! It was really fun, and we were there until like 10:30. After that, spencer and I watched juno cause it was on tv! After a fun, long, tiring day, I finally crawled into bed at 12 o'clock! It was the BEST weekend!!!!!

So... tonight I have a band concert! yay... They aren't the most fun thing ever but they're pretty fun, well the part where we get to play! other than that, it's super boring! And by next Friday, I have to listen to 10 hours of jazz music!! ugh, i'm not excited, but oh well!!! so that's pretty much what's going on right now!!!!
